Step into an evening of haunting beauty and musical transcendence as Tomi&Tomi—the celebrated Argentine duo—join forces with the Japanese butoh ensemble MUTSUMINEIRO, featuring Jens Stenstadvold, Hallvard Håstein, and Esther H. H. Ziegemann (dir. Janne Hoem).Tomi Lebrero (bandoneon, vocals) and Tomi Mutio (guitar, piano, vocals) are known for their soul-stirring harmonies and genre-defying compositions. Drawing inspiration from Argentine masters like Ricardo Vilca and Astor Piazzolla, they reimagine traditional tangos, waltzes, and milongas with a contemporary edge—intimate, raw, and deeply resonant.
Before the music begins, MUTSUMINEIRO will open the evening with a butoh performance—bringing to life the visceral, poetic language of this Japanese dance form. Together, these artists create a multidisciplinary experience that transcends borders and speaks directly to the senses.
